Karin Jeske

For the last 25 years, Karin Jeske has managed fashion-oriented product lines that have included home furnishings, home decor,textiles, apparel, accessories and floral.  See Linkedin profile.

With her undergraduate degree in Textile Design from the Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science (now Jefferson University), her career started in the New York garment center, in apparel and textile design for JP Stevens, then Phillips-Van Heusen.

In her efforts to evolve product lines that would benefit both the company and the customer, she became interested in product line analysis and profitability, and has always sought

out the latest tools to crunch the numbers and combine the data with her innate fashion sense to grow successful assortments. 

Karin quickly advanced to senior management, serving in both merchandising and marketing roles, and went on to earn her MBA in 1998 from Pepperdine University, while working full-time.  

Karin has led product initiatives at companies such as Levolor Home Fashions, Cecil Saydah, Smith+Noble, Teleflora, 3 Day Blinds and Blinds.com (a division of The Home Depot), creating product lines that produce incremental sales and increase gross margins.  In addition, she has served on executive committees with strong contributions in strategic planning and general company management.

Since 2012, Karin has nurtured Tesselle, a company that designs and markets unique concrete tile and block, and this became the full focus for her and her team starting in 2021.

Karin is active in youth mentoring programs, her church and in business associations.  She enjoys travel, photography and racquetball. She lives and works in California, and is married to Daniel Jeske, who is an administrator and professor in the Statistics Department at University of California, Riverside.
